when it rains, everybody runs
cause no one wants to get wet
but here I am, walking slowly
people yell and complain all the time
behind my back
but here I am, happy
losing time and money
my steps are like 2 squares on the floor, I stumble on my own feet

Real Moments

i screamed your name on the footbridge
no one knows why we're here and there's no time to bother
go anywhere, go through anything
just to exchange a glance
or get my feet wet on the shore
the room 18, kindness and simple things
celebrate again with my friends
I look for real moments

I love the trees and the way they speak
how branches follow the sun to survive
like us in search of some light
sometimes humans are mean
but the trees keep standing still, standing still
I sent a balloon a thousand miles out of the stratosphere
it came back carrying small fellows
which scientists believe can only have come from space
we talked a lot about the whole, the truth and pyramids
they said there's still hope and we need to release
im so tired of emptyness
so sick of hate
sick of all cages
overwhelming every day
but there's no guide for breathing
i'll find my missing part
then give life a meaning
and listen to my heart

Empty Swimming Pool

(there was an empty pool down the street
which charmed me when i was little and I sang hoping
that one day it would be full, because I wanted to jump in it.
but I only dreamed, it was always empty...
how transparency could fill something?
but at that neighborhood at a street without name,
over two or four wheels, we knew we were fine...
people singing in the subway... how funny is that?)
the sun goes away with no goodbyes
the gap between the trees ceases to shine
light and dark, how nonsense is duality
i wish i could stop trying to comprehend
the void took shape and my heart's youth became wicked, intense
it remains empty, even with the rain...
